Client Safety Program Lead

Description
Responsibilities:
� Direct the planning, rollout, review, and ongoing enhancement of the client safety program to support strong quality and safety results across the organization.
� Define safety priorities, performance measures, and short- and long-range plans that reflect organizational strategy, accreditation expectations, and recognized best practices.
� Track developments in client safety research, sector trends, and emerging standards, and recommend practical improvements based on those insights.
� Advise leaders, departments, and teams on client safety matters by providing subject-matter expertise, guidance, and clear direction.
� Lead client safety governance activities, including facilitating committee work and supporting decision-making on key safety initiatives.
� Foster an environment that encourages openness, shared accountability, reporting, and continuous learning in support of safer care.
� Maintain organizational preparedness for required safety practices related to accreditation and guide teams on meeting safety-related accreditation requirements.
� Oversee incident reporting and follow-up processes, including leading significant event reviews, root cause analysis, and identification of system-level corrective actions.
� Develop organizational methods for safety measurement, reporting, and trend analysis, and use quality improvement and change management approaches to advance sustainable improvements.
