Supply Chain Specialist

Description
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the procurement of materials, components, and equipment to meet operational needs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align material requirements with project demands.
• Track and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimized.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with vendors to secure favourable agreements.
• Identify and address supply chain issues or delays, implementing solutions to maintain workflow.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent disruptions in upcoming orders.
• Update and manage purchase orders and inventory data within the organizational system.
• Ensure incoming materials are properly labeled and organized for efficient use.
• Support initiatives aimed at reducing costs and improving supply chain processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing or machinery industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and managing inventory processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data processing tools.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency.
