Job Posting: Supply Chain Specialist & Buyer
What We Offer
We offer you a role where you build something tangible and where your impact is visible.
You will structure a key function within the company, make important decisions, and directly see the results of your work on our costs, growth, and performance.
You’ll work with an ambitious team in a fast-moving environment where ideas are tested quickly and results matter.
You’ll have autonomy, trust, and the latitude to do things right — without micromanagement.
And yes, compensation is competitive.Location
- Join RigCraftor and help transform the transportation industry!
- At RigCraftor, we design and manufacture innovative solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and longevity for workers across the logistics chain. Our mission is clear: to make the transportation industry safer and enable logistics professionals to reach their full potential. We are experiencing strong growth and are at a key moment: structuring our supply chain, securing our manufacturing partners, and optimizing costs to support expansion.
- We’re not looking for someone to “manage suppliers.”We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of our supply chain. Your role: find the right factories, negotiate hard, secure quality, and ensure that every product delivered is profitable, reliable, and ready to perform. Here, you don’t just follow up — you make decisions that directly impact our margins, growth, and reputation. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, enjoy solving real problems, and delivering despite obstacles — you’ll fit right in. Your responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and audit new factories and manufacturing partners, both locally and internationally
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and production timelines
- Contribute to sourcing strategy (country selection, factory diversification, risk management)
- Optimize costs (COGS) and improve margins
- Plan and manage inventory levels based on demand and growth
- Place and track purchase orders for all products
- Manage and maintain inventory systems
- Analyze data (costs, lead times, supplier performance)
- Ensure quality control with factories
- Manage production issues and resolve them quickly
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and logistics teams
- And when needed, roll up your sleeves — because at RigCraftor, everyone contributes
- You are comfortable with complexity, quick to understand challenges, and able to find practical solutions. You know how to negotiate, analyze — but most importantly, execute. You can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and stay in control under pressure. You understand the realities of manufacturing: lead times, costs, and trade-offs. You are not afraid to challenge a supplier or make tough decisions to deliver results. You are autonomous, structured, and reliable. When you take ownership of something, it moves forward. What we’re looking for:
- 5–7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
- Experience with international suppliers (ideally in Asia)
- Strong negotiation skills
- High analytical capability and comfort working with data
- Good understanding of inventory systems and ERP
- Autonomous, resourceful, and strong prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail (quality, cost, timelines)
- Bilingual French/English (advanced level required)
