Payroll Operations Lead

Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on schedule.
• Review payroll records, deductions, and earnings data to maintain accuracy across each processing cycle.
• Administer benefits-related payroll entries and resolve discrepancies affecting employee compensation.
• Use accounting and payroll software to update records, generate reports, and support financial reconciliation tasks.
• Monitor payment processing activities and address issues promptly to reduce delays or errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support payroll-related inquiries and provide clear, timely resolutions.
• Maintain payroll documentation and help ensure practices align with applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with payroll system updates, configuration changes, or process improvements as needed.
• Experience managing payroll administration in a high-volume or detail-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software systems and payroll platforms.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, deductions, and related administrative functions.
• Knowledge of benefits administration as it relates to payroll coordination.
• Ability to handle payment processing tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when reviewing payroll data.
• Effective communication skills for responding to employee and internal stakeholder questions.
