- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

- Repair and balance tires
- Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
- Move tools, equipment and other materials
- Monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed
- Keep shop and warehouse clean
- Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Manage solid or liquid waste collection and disposal systems, train drivers in how to handle waste and ensure safe operation of disposal facilities
