DIMENSIONAL PART CORRECTOR FOR PRODUCTION
Are you a conventional machinist or dimensional inspector that would like to work on production of aerospace parts? Would you like to join a leading manufacturer of such parts where employees stay sometimes the majority of their careers because of the cohesiveness of the company and variety of the tasks? Our client, a leader in the fabrication of parts for the aerospace and defence industries situated in Montreal, is looking for a dimensional inspector and parts straightener in production. This is not a final inspector but a production position to measure, evaluate, and correct the parts by straightening or grinding the parts to meet the required drawing dimensions and tolerances. You will use measuring equipment such as verniers, height gauges, go no-go gauges, fixtures, CMM equipment and Faro arms to check critical dimensions. You will be trained on whichever equipment you are yet to be familiar. This is an important position in production to match the parts with the requirements, offering a tremendous amount of task variety. The team is multinational with many languages spoken including French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. You need to have your Permanent Residency in Canada to apply.
Salary: $25 to $30 per hour depending on relevant experience. Our client can go higher if you come with all the experience required. Competitive fringe benefits offered.
