Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

Description
Responsibilities:
• Deliver front-line technical assistance for desktop, laptop, mobile, and peripheral issues received through service desk channels and in-person support requests.
• Diagnose and resolve problems involving Microsoft environments, Mac computers, Android devices, and common business applications to minimize user downtime.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user hardware, including workstations, monitors, printers, and related accessories across the organization.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access requests within Active Directory while following established security and support procedures.
• Support connectivity and infrastructure-related incidents involving Cisco and Citrix technologies, escalating complex issues when required.
• Perform desk-side troubleshooting for operating system, software, and device-related concerns, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
• Record incidents, service requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions accurately within the ticketing system to maintain clear support documentation.
• Assist with technology rollouts, workstation refreshes, and other operational IT initiatives that improve the end-user support environment.
• Demonstrated experience in help desk, desktop support, or service desk roles within a corporate or enterprise setting.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft platforms, Mac computers, and Android device support.
• Familiarity with Cisco technologies, Citrix environments, and general network-connected end-user systems.
• Practical experience troubleshooting computer hardware, software, login, and access-related issues.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory for account setup, password support, and permission management.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a consistent, user-focused approach to technical support.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
