Description
Position: Commercial Garage Door – Technical Specialist
Location: Mississauga

A great opportunity awaits someone who is ready to start afresh and not be on the road 24/7. This role would be ideal for someone who is an installer but is ready to be in a technical support role within a manufacturing company.
The successful candidate would be mechanically and technically astute to be able to address client requirements and provide support to the company’s objective.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for all products.
- Conduct customer site visits on an “as needed” basis.
- Deliver in house product knowledge and other required training for staff and customers. - Support the warranty department with technical assistance/concerns.
- Support the engineering team.
Who you are:
- At least 5 years of work experience in installation and servicing commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, etc.
- Good communication skills in English, any other language is an asset.
- Comfortable with providing training to internal and external customers.
- Computer experience required – can’t be afraid of technology.
- Demonstrate ability to work across various cultures, a go get attitude.
- Ability to improve continuously with creative and resourceful problem solving.
- Mechanically astute.
