Summerside is a city in Prince Edward Island. The city is in the west of the island, on the edge of the Northumberland Strait.
The city is with Charlottetown the only urban centers of the province. It is a medium-sized port, but one of the largest cities in the Atlantic provinces with Halifax, Saint-Jean, Moncton as well as Charlottetown.

The Summerside area already had the world's largest concentration of silver fox farms. This is highlighted in the Silver Fox4 museum.
