Position: Validation Supervisor
Location: Montreal
Salary: $90,000 to $105,000 + up to 8% bonus + benefits, RRSP and profit sharing, 4 weeks vacation
Our client, a dynamic and innovative pharmaceutical manufacturing company, committed to delivering high-quality products to improve lives is seeking a dedicated Validation Supervisor to join their plant in Montreal. As a Validation Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment and processes perform as intended, adhering to the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements, while managing a team of 2 technicians.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, revise, and implement a compliant and cost-effective validation strategy (VMP, CVMP, CSVMP)
- Manage all operational validation activities within the plant
- Plan and review validation activities, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory guidelines
- Execute equipment, utility, process, and cleaning validation activities
- Support the lifecycle management of laboratory equipment (qualification, maintenance, calibration, CSV, etc.)
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management
- Lead, organize, and mentor team members
- Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality investigations
- Provide technical support to operations, projects, and scheduled validation activities
- Generate KPIs for the validation team
- Perform other related tasks as required

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of validation experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
- Supervisory experience is required
- Strong understanding and application of GMPs and regulatory requirements
- Experience with equipment qualification across a range of equipment types
- Expertise in process validation, cleaning validation, and computer system validation
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
