Do you have experience as a standing forklift operator?
Can you work in a cold environment (-27 degrees to -32 degrees)?
If so, this is the job for you!
Job title: Team leader / evening forklift operator
Hours: Wednesday to Friday from 15:00 to 01:30
And Saturday from 14:00 to 00:30. (4 days/week, 10 hours/day)
Location : Laval (H7C 2V2)
Salary: $23.00 to $28.80 plus an evening premium of $0.75/hour
Status: full-time, long-term
Start date : as soon as possible
Responsibilities
Working in a cold environment (-27 degrees to -32 degrees)
We are looking for a team leader whose duties will include :
Take part in loading and unloading trucks using a stand-up forklift;
Ensure proper organization of work, including use and availability of equipment, in compliance with procedures and regulations.
Participate in the organization of preparation, shipping and storage areas, and ensure their cleanliness.
Check that orders are properly prepared
In line with the company's social policy, develop and ensure local management within the department to help achieve objectives.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, internal regulations and health and safety rules in force at the warehouse or logistics site.
Other related tasks ...
NB: If you are selected, you will undergo daytime training for an indefinite period before starting on the evening shift.
Requirements
Experience of working at height with forklift;
Good oral and written communication skills in French;
Ability to lift loads up to 30 kg;
Ability to use a scanner and computer;
Able to work in a cold environment (intermittently).
