Position Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst / Senior IT Consultant to deliver expert-level technology support and consulting services. This individual will work closely with clients to assess current environments, troubleshoot issues, and recommend tailored solutions that align IT systems with business objectives. This role is primarily on-site and involves a mix of technical support, infrastructure management, and advisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients, maintaining a detail oriented and client-focused approach Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, applications, and hardware to ensure optimal performance and uptime Analyze client environments to identify opportunities for improvement, upgrades, and optimization Deploy, configure, and manage new systems, tools, and applications Perform regular system health checks and proactively resolve potential issues Collaborate with internal teams on project planning, implementation, and post-deployment support Escalate complex issues appropriately and leverage team expertise when needed Support multiple client environments with varying technical requirements Occasional local travel may be required as part of client support responsibilities
Qualifications 5–10+ years of experience in IT support, systems analysis, or network administration Strong background in infrastructure support, including servers, networks, and cloud technologies Proven ability to deliver tailored IT solutions in a consulting or client-facing environment Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience managing and supporting diverse IT environments Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
