Job Title: Audit Consultant – SOX

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Consultant for to support our Financial Institution client to conduct SOX audits. This role requires a strong understanding of SOX audits. The position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in regulatory audits and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute business line testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform detailed audits within banking, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address findings and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate processes and systems to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports that clearly outline observations and recommendations.
• Provide expertise in regulatory compliance to support audit objectives.
• Stay updated on industry changes and regulatory updates to enhance audit quality.
• Ensure timely completion of audit assignments within the defined period.

Required Skills & Experience

• Certification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on SOX compliance.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute audit plans effectively.
• Excellent skills in preparing audit reports and presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
