Our client is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join and support their team in Rocky View, Alberta. This role assists in the design, customization, and maintenance of applications that enhance operational performance, with a focus on TruckMate TMS functionality. The ideal candidate is an experienced developer who collaborates effectively with business and technical stakeholders, delivers reliable software solutions, resolves issues efficiently, and contributes to continuous system improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions supporting transportation and logistics operations, including TruckMate TMS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and enhance applications, integrations, and tools using C++, Java, JavaScript, and .NET.
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and manage tickets through structured processes.
• Use Jira and GitHub for task management, source control, and team collaboration.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and data integrity.
• Support front-end updates using CSS and JavaScript.
• Assist with TruckMate implementation, testing, configuration, and user support.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across the team. 

• 5+ years of software development experience, preferably with enterprise or operational systems.
• Hands-on experience with TruckMate TMS (development, implementation, or support).
• Strong skills in C++, Java, JavaScript, or .NET.
• Proficient in MySQL, including queries, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Jira for task and bug management.
• Working knowledge of GitHub and source control best practices.
• Familiarity with CSS, web technologies, and backend development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced environments.
