Our client is seeking for an experienced Senior Procurement Advisor to join their organization in Edmonton, Alberta. This role supports strategic procurement activities, providing guidance throughout the sourcing and contracting process. The ideal candidate brings strong procurement expertise, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders while ensuring compliant, well-managed, and value-driven procurement outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with internal teams to assess needs, risks, sourcing strategies, and timelines.
• Lead competitive procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Manage end-to-end sourcing events through electronic procurement platforms.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement policies, best practices, and process selection.
• Support vendor negotiations and contract development and review.
• Ensure compliance with public-sector rules, trade agreements, and governance requirements.
• Prepare procurement documentation, recommendations, and decision records.
• Support post-award implementation and contract transitions.
• Manage multiple procurement files independently while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

• 7+ years of procurement project management experience.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end competitive sourcing, from planning and RFx development through evaluation and award.
• Strong experience with RFx documentation, cross-functional evaluations, negotiation, and contract development.
• Knowledge of Canadian public procurement practices, legislation, and trade agreements.
• Experience with e-sourcing/procurement systems; Euna Procurement or Bonfire is an asset.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
