Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Corporate Accounting team for a 3 month contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities — including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

• Prepare monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations and assist with electronic banking administration as required

• Prepare subledger and general ledger reconciliations, supporting schedules, and working papers

• Prepare multi-level consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures

• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting, including working papers and disclosures

• Identify business process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives across the accounting function.

• Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated CPA with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience and real estate industry experience.

In addition, the following skills and experience are desired:

• Full cycle accounting experience along with solid knowledge of ASPE and Yardi Voyager experience would be an asset.

• Experience working for a complex multi-entity organization, including exposure to consolidated financial statements

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills - must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.

• Strong collaboration skills — enjoys being part of a team that learns and grows together.
