We are looking for a Security Analyst to support and strengthen the organization’s IT security environment in Toronto, Ontario. This Long-term Contract position is well suited to a detail-oriented individual who can combine hands-on technical expertise with a proactive approach to risk reduction and system protection. Working within the hospitality industry, the successful candidate will help maintain secure infrastructure, address vulnerabilities, and contribute to reliable security operations across network, firewall, and cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support the security posture of network, firewall, and cloud environments to help safeguard business systems and data.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize security technologies, including Check Point and Cisco solutions, to meet operational and compliance needs.
• Investigate security-related incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement timely corrective actions to reduce service disruption.
• Perform security assessments, validate configurations, and identify opportunities to strengthen controls across infrastructure and connected platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage configuration standards and promote consistent security practices throughout the environment.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities by reviewing security implementations, testing updates, and confirming expected performance.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for security settings, procedures, and issue resolution activities.
• Provide ongoing support for cyber security initiatives, including improvements to firewall rules, cloud protections, and access controls.
• Demonstrated experience working in IT security, cyber security, or a closely related technical security role.
• Hands-on knowledge of Check Point, Cisco technologies, firewall administration, and cloud security concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical and security-related issues efficiently.
• Experience with configuration management and maintaining secure, well-documented technical environments.
• Familiarity with security monitoring, risk mitigation, and infrastructure protection best practices.
• Understanding of quality assurance principles as they relate to security controls, testing, and system reliability.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative setting.
