Our expectations:
Reporting to the Coach, Operations, the Stacker is responsible for ensuring load completion, securing outbound pallets with shrink wrap, consolidating pallets, and safely loading trailers for store deliveries.
Your role:
Safely load and secure customer goods on outbound trailers
Transport / move loads to specified locations
Drive and operate material handling equipment (stand-up forklift) with fork and/or clamp attachment
Locate missing product for load completion
Hand wrap pallets for loading
Act in accordance with all current RONA policies and procedures
Encourage and participate in teamwork and the Shipping Department’s success through a positive attitude
Ensure accuracy and integrity of shipments
Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork
Provide and uphold a safe working environment
Stack products safely and securely to lessen the number of skids or clampable sections
Uphold our 5 core values
Perform all other related tasks
The qualifications we are looking for :
Stand-up forklift experience (an asset)
Willingness to train
Related experience (an asset but not required)
Responsible, meticulous, and attentive to work
Team player with a positive attitude
Commitment to providing excellent customer service
RF gun experience (an asset)
Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills
Time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform job duties that involve stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products
