Description
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce features, custom components, and backend integrations that support organizational programs and internal operations.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions by working closely with stakeholders, documenting requirements, and recommending practical system enhancements.
• Develop and support custom code using relevant programming languages and web technologies to extend platform capabilities and improve user experience.
• Investigate defects, troubleshoot application issues, and implement sustainable fixes while tracking work through established ticketing and bug management processes.
• Manage source code and deployment activities using version control and collaborative development practices to promote code quality and release stability.
• Create and execute testing activities to validate new functionality, confirm system performance, and reduce the risk of production issues.
• Contribute to ongoing platform improvements, including updates to existing workflows, integrations, and data handling processes when business changes require system adjustments.
• Prepare technical documentation and share knowledge with team members to support maintainability, continuity, and effective adoption of solutions.
• Demonstrated 5+ years of experience developing and supporting Salesforce solutions in a detail-focused software development environment.
• Must have prior experience with Sales Cloud
• Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, and backend development concepts used to build and maintain business applications.
• Hands-on experience with source control tools such as GitHub and issue tracking platforms such as Atlassian Jira.
• Strong ability to diagnose bugs, resolve technical issues, and deliver clean, dependable code.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or .NET in support of enterprise application development.
• Experience working with structured development practices, including testing, documentation, and collaborative delivery workflows.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
- AI and Data Integration experience
- Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
