Our client is looking for an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports ERP and large-scale digital initiatives by delivering strong commercial outcomes, managing risk, and ensuring governance. The ideal candidate is a strategic procurement professional who excels in complex environments and influences enterprise decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing for ERP, SaaS, cloud, and enterprise IT solutions.
• Run competitive RFI/RFP/RFQ processes aligned to business needs.
• Analyze markets and evaluate suppliers to support strategy.
• Negotiate complex contracts (MSAs, licensing, implementation).
• Ensure contracts address risk, compliance, and service levels.
• Support major system initiatives through sourcing and execution.
• Oversee vendor performance and post-award management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10+ years in IT procurement, sourcing, or contract management.
• Experience with ERP or large enterprise system implementations.
• Strong track record negotiating high-value technology contracts.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud, and licensing models.
• Ability to translate technical needs into commercial strategies.
• Supply chain certification (e.g., SCMP, CIP, CPM) is an asset.
