    Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.

    Mission

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Oversee and manage all aspects of real estate accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Proactively prepare cashflow statements and submit reports on daily, weekly and monthly cashflow needs.
    • Manage property-related financial activities, including rent collections, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
    • Coordinate with property managers and other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
    • Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to senior management.
    • Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks and/or Sage.
    • Administrate construction contracts, assume responsibility for contractor and sub-contractor compliance matters and notify owner as to project progress.
    • Participate in the underwriting of new properties and the refinance of existing mortgages.
    • Preparing financial models as requested by the Managing partner
    • Control all incoming and out going wires with approval of the Managing partner
    • Report to the managing partner

    Your profile

    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in full-cycle real estate accounting.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Sage.
    • Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
    • Bilingual
    • Valid driver’s license (preferred).
    Skills:
    • Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles and practices.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and handle a fast-paced work environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
