Our client is seeking for an experienced Project Manager II to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports the successful delivery of complex business projects by providing leadership across planning, execution, governance, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and project closeout activities. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project leader with strong financial acumen, proven experience managing complex initiatives, and the ability to align stakeholders, timelines, resources, and deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning, including objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success measures.
• Coordinate stakeholder communications, priorities, risks, and decisions.
• Manage project budgets, resource forecasts, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and steering committee updates.
• Manage scope, risks, and mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate with internal teams, business partners, and vendors.
• Lead project closeout activities, including lessons learned and final reporting.

• 10+ years of experience leading complex business projects.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Project management certification with post-certification experience.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Experience with technical and financial solutions; knowledge of accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, PeopleSoft, and web-based technologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
