Robert Half is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an established service and construction company, for a Project Accountant. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with extensive experience supporting project-based organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project-based accounting, including job costing, project billing, and variance analysis
• Maintain financial records and reconcile project accounts in QuickBooks Online
• Collaborate with project managers to review budgets, track costs, and monitor profitability
• Prepare monthly reports on project performance and support audit processes
• Process accounts payable/receivable related to project activity
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards

• 5+ years of Accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)
• Demonstrated experience with project billing and job costing
• Working knowledge of the accounting cycle, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and management
