    Our expectations:

    There is a career opportunity available at our Distribution Center location. During the execution of their responsibilities, the Operator utilizes a range of equipment, including the center rider, pallet jack, order picker, lift truck, reach truck, dock stocker, RF handheld scanner, and a voice pick headset unit.

    Overtime as required. We can accommodate a flexible work schedule with seasonal, full-time and part-time work offered.

    Your role:

    Utilize a voice pick headset unit and appropriate material handling equipment to meticulously assemble customer orders, physically selecting individual units and cases, and arranging them on a pallet in an orderly and stable manner
    Use an RF handheld scanner and suitable material handling equipment to restock the warehouse, transferring items from a reserve location to the primary pick location
    Operate various material handling equipment, including the center rider, pallet jack, reach truck, order picker, lift truck, and dock stocker
    Encourage and participate in teamwork and the organization’s success through a positive attitude
    Adhere to all current RONA policies and procedures while upholding our five core values 
    Exhibit the flexibility to support various departments to serve our customers effectively 
    Provide occasional assistance to our partner Distribution Centers 
    Aware and respectful of warehouse safety standards with a 100% commitment to providing and upholding a safe work environment 
    Perform all other duties related to facility upkeep, encompassing cleaning, daily tidying, inventory support, and light maintenance 
    Demonstrate good visual and manual coordination, with meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy 
    Possess the physical fitness to routinely handle merchandise weighing up to 50lbs, with the understanding that products exceeding this weight or deemed too heavy or unwieldy will require a team-lift

    The qualifications we are looking for :

    Prior experience in machine operation is an asset
    Familiarity with order-filling using voice picking technology is an asset 
    A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service 
    Proficiency in time management and problem-solving is required
    A team-oriented mindset with a positive outlook is highly valued
