Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to support during a critical period of resource constraints. This role will serve as a technical SME supporting PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, and FSCM environments, ensuring business continuity for payroll-critical systems, managing integrations, supporting Oracle image deployments, and assisting with key initiatives including a future UKG Workforce Management implementation.

This is a highly technical role requiring strong PeopleSoft development, troubleshooting, integration, and production support experience. The successful consultant will work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, and Information Services teams while providing expertise across both operational support and project-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

PeopleSoft Technical Support & Administration

• Provide production support for PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, and FSCM applications across production and test environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting payroll, HR, and finance operations.
• Support critical business continuity requirements, including emergency issue resolution and vacation coverage.
• Analyze and resolve application, interface, and integration-related issues.
• Document technical solutions, processes, and system changes.

Oracle Updates, Releases & Patches

• Monitor Oracle releases, images, patches, bug fixes, and regulatory updates.
• Assess applicability and impacts to the organization's PeopleSoft environment.
• Coordinate and manage Oracle support tickets (SRs).
• Lead technical planning and deployment activities related to Oracle image updates.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of updates into production environments.

Payroll & Year-End Support

• Support payroll-critical systems and related technical processes.
• Assist with tax updates, year-end processing, and T4 reporting activities.
• Collaborate closely with Payroll stakeholders to plan, test, and deploy annual updates.
• Support deployment activities during year-end maintenance windows.

Integration & Development Support

• Support existing integrations between PeopleSoft and external platforms including UKG Workforce Management, Telestaff, Maximo and Learning Management Systems
• Analyze integration requirements and troubleshoot data flow issues.
• Develop and modify PeopleSoft queries, interfaces, and technical components as required.

Future UKG Workforce Management Initiative

• Provide technical support for the upcoming UKG Workforce Management rollout supporting approximately 920 Parks employees.
• Assist with design, configuration, data mapping, integration planning, testing, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners throughout project phases.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of PeopleSoft technical consulting experience.
• Strong experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleSoft Payroll, PeopleSoft FSCM
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Must be available throughout November and December 2026, including the year-end payroll processing period.
• Availability to support payroll-critical activities, tax updates, and year-end system maintenance is required.
• Hands-on PeopleCode development experience.
• PeopleSoft Query development and reporting experience.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting integrations between enterprise systems.
• Experience with Oracle image deployments, patches, upgrades, and production support.
• Experience working within payroll-critical environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and serve as a senior technical resource.
