We are currently building a pipeline of experienced Payroll Specialists for upcoming opportunities with our clients. This role will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for employees on a regular schedule
• Ensure accuracy of payroll data, including timesheets, deductions, and benefits
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as required
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll regulations
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and deductions

Requirements:

• 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legislation
• Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• PCP certification (or in progress) is considered an asset
