Operations Manager

Description
Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day operational performance across construction and telecom activities spanning multiple sites.
• Provide direction and mentorship to project and construction leaders while supporting larger field crews in achieving project objectives.
• Advise site leadership on scheduling priorities, workforce coordination, and issue resolution to keep work progressing effectively.
• Promote consistent standards for safety, workmanship, timelines, and service delivery across all operating locations.
• Improve operational alignment by reinforcing clear processes, expectations, and communication practices throughout the team.
• Partner with senior leadership on resource planning, capacity reviews, and deployment strategies to support current and upcoming work.
• Monitor active projects to maintain awareness of performance, risks, and site needs, including occasional travel when required.
• Encourage a results-driven culture that values accountability, teamwork, and ongoing operational improvement.
• At least 8 years of leadership experience in construction, telecom, utilities, or related infrastructure operations.
• Demonstrated success overseeing managers and field-based teams across more than one operating location.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery within construction-led and telecom infrastructure environments.
• Ability to coach experienced operational leaders and influence decision-making across diverse teams.
• Solid background in planning, project management, and implementing practical operational strategies.
• Experience supporting quality assurance, budget-related processes, and performance oversight.
• Strong judgement, organizational ability, and creative problem-solving skills in fast-moving environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively across stakeholders.
