Operations Claims Assistant

Description
Responsibilities:
• Produce and circulate operational and claims reports for multiple business areas, ensuring information is timely, clear, and accurate.
• Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to compile data, track activity, and prepare clear documents and reporting materials.
• Maintain reporting tools, spreadsheets, databases, and departmental trackers so records remain complete and up to date.
• Assist with improving internal reporting methods and administrative workflows to support greater efficiency across the team.
• Handle incoming requests and correspondence from internal stakeholders, directing items to the appropriate teams and following up as needed.
• Work closely with claims and operations staff to gather reporting needs, coordinate administrative tasks, and support day-to-day activities.
• Attend team and leadership meetings to provide progress updates on assignments, priorities, and outstanding deliverables.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards, service expectations, and confidentiality requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative, operations, or reporting support within a fast-paced corporate setting.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with strong capability in Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Demonstrated experience preparing reports, organizing data, and maintaining operational documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across departments.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by close attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Previous exposure to insurance, claims, financial services, or similar operational support environments is considered an asset.
