We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to support a retail organization in North York, Ontario. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is confident managing network infrastructure, server environments, and endpoint systems in a fast-paced operational setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable technology services while resolving complex technical issues across the business.

Responsibilities:
• Administer and support firewall and network environments, including Check Point, FortiGate, FortiManager, and Cisco infrastructure, to maintain security and performance.
• Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services across hybrid and on-premises systems.
• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot servers and endpoint management tools to ensure consistent device deployment, policy enforcement, and operational readiness.
• Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure incidents, resolving escalated issues efficiently and minimizing disruption to day-to-day operations.
• Maintain and improve network reliability by performing regular upgrades, patching activities, and preventative maintenance across core systems.
• Support cloud-connected and on-site technologies, including exposure to Microsoft Azure and Aruba GreenLake Cloud Controller environments.
• Assist with retail technology operations by supporting store-related hardware, network-connected equipment, and specialized business applications.
• Investigate system and connectivity problems independently, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions with limited supervision.
• At least 3 years of experience in network administration, infrastructure support, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with firewall administration, including Check Point and FortiGate environments.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking, routers, switches, and general configuration management practices.
• Practical experience supporting Windows Server 2019 or newer, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with endpoint management, device staging, deployment processes, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Exposure to hybrid environments, on-premises systems, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and solve technical issues in a structured manner.
• Experience supporting technology in a retail or multi-site operational environment is considered an asset.
