Our client, a well-established and community-focused financial institution, is seeking an experienced Loan Officer / Member Services Representative to join their team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide lending solutions including personal loans, mortgages, lines of credit, and other consumer lending products.
• Interview members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate lending and banking solutions.
• Review loan applications, analyze credit information, and prepare lending recommendations.
• Support members with debt management, financial guidance, and loan servicing.
• Promote and cross-sell a variety of financial products and services to meet member needs.
• Open new accounts and process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist members with everyday banking inquiries while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Prepare mortgage renewals, loan modifications, and related documentation.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and work collaboratively with members to establish repayment solutions.
• Maintain compliance with lending policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
• Participate in branch initiatives that support business growth and member engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail banking, lending, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, mortgages, and deposit services.
• Experience reviewing loan applications and assessing credit risk.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency using banking or financial management systems is considered an asset.
• Mutual Funds License is considered an asset or willingness to obtain.
