CUSTOMER LIAISON ENGINEER/ ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Are you a mechanical or metallurgical engineer or technician who's very familiar with mechanical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) ? Are you equally people- and customer-oriented that you see yourself combining the two talents ? Furthermore, would you like to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Montreal area? If so, our client will very much like to speak with you. Our client is looking for an individual who will liaise with their American clients regarding the process from the quotations stage right through to production, a process which often takes 6 months. You will interface with sales, estimating, engineering and production, in a way overseeing the initial process, ensuring accurate quotes, clear communication, and smooth coordination as as aerospace and defence components move from inquiry to production readiness. You will need a mechanical or metallurgical engineering diploma or degree, knowledge of GD&T, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, experience in manufacturing or an industrial environment, preferably with customer service or sales-support in a B2B setting with experience in an ERP environment. Bilingual English and French with full fluency in English both written and spoken to communicate with international clients. Furthermore, our client is looking for someone articulate, reliable with strong attention to detail, and patient with customers. You must also successfully complete mandatory security screenings and meet compliance requirements including Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status for work involving restricted technical information.
Salary: 60-90k depending on education and experience. Our client offers generous social benefits.
