Job Summary:

Robert Half Canada is seeking a skilled Manager, Financial Reporting & Advisory Services on behalf of our client in the consulting/professional services industry. This role is responsible for leading financial reporting engagements, advising clients on technical accounting matters, and supporting complex finance and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, client service experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage financial reporting and advisory engagements for a range of clients
• Provide guidance on technical accounting matters, financial statement preparation, and reporting requirements
• Support clients with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes
• Advise on accounting policy development, implementation, and process improvement initiatives
• Assist clients with audit readiness, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements
• Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, and management reports
• Conduct financial analysis and support special projects, including system implementations and finance transformation initiatives
• Manage client relationships and communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates effectively
• Mentor and support team members while helping drive engagement quality and delivery
• Collaborate across internal and client teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution

Qualifications:

• CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting credential
• Progressive experience in financial reporting, advisory, public accounting, or technical accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial statement preparation, and reporting processes
• Experience managing client engagements or leading finance-related projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
