We are looking for a Laptop Deployment Technician to support a large-scale device refresh initiative for a financial services environment in Toronto, Ontario. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on PC technician who can manage laptop preparation, deployment, and end-user support in a fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused approach while helping ensure equipment is configured, exchanged, and returned on schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and image laptops for deployment, ensuring each device is configured accurately and ready for end-user use.
• Coordinate laptop exchanges by collecting legacy devices and issuing replacement equipment within established timelines.
• Troubleshoot Level 2 desktop and laptop issues related to hardware, Microsoft 365 applications, Outlook, Excel, and general user access.
• Support device management and account administration tasks using Intune, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Maintain service records, update tickets, and track progress through ServiceNow to support timely resolution and reporting.
• Package and ship laptops to multiple branch locations, making sure equipment is labelled and dispatched correctly.
• Follow deployment checklists and documented procedures to keep daily rollout activities organized and consistent.
• Manage a high daily volume of device deployments while maintaining quality, accuracy, and a positive client experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PC technician, desktop support, or laptop deployment role.
• Hands-on experience with laptop imaging, hardware setup, and device replacement activities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including troubleshooting Outlook and Excel issues.
• Familiarity with Intune, Azure, Active Directory, and ServiceNow in an enterprise support environment.
• Strong understanding of computer and laptop hardware with the ability to diagnose user and device issues effectively.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with end users and deliver attentive, friendly customer service.
• Able to follow written instructions, use checklists consistently, and adapt to established deployment processes.
