Our client is looking for a detail-oriented entry-level Accountant to join a real estate property and facilities management team on a contract basis. This six-month in-office opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys high-volume transactional work, supports accurate financial records, and contributes to a smooth month-end cycle. The successful candidate will assist with reconciliations, invoicing, and day-to-day accounting administration in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Record journal entries and prepare supporting documentation for inventory and general ledger accounts.

• Support high-volume invoicing activities and month-end close processes.

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Assist with intercompany reconciliations across related entities.

• Provide day-to-day accounting administration and maintain organized financial records.

• Support accounts payable processing, including utility charges, vendor invoices, and payments.

• Enter land deposit transactions and home closing entries within required timelines.

• Process landscape deposit refunds and property-related invoices in line with internal procedures.
