Our client is seeking an IT Auditor to support the Internal Audit Team for a 3 month contract.

Reporting to the Manager, Internal Audit, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead end-to-end IT audits, evaluating technology controls related to cybersecurity, access management, system development, change management, and technology operations.

• Undertake patch management, which is the independent review and evaluation of how an organization identifies, prioritizes, tests, deploys, and verifies software and firmware updates to ensure security controls work as intended and mitigate risks

• Undertake ITGC work as assigned by Manager, Internal Audit

• Review system licensing focused on evaluating whether an organization is compliant with its software license agreements, optimizing its software expenditures, and mitigating financial, legal, and operational risks.

• Identify emerging risks, uncover control gaps, and provide practical recommendations that strengthen governance, improve risk management, and support business objectives.

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated CPA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA),Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with 5+ years of IT audit experience.

In addition, the following skills and experience are desired:

• Ability to lead an internal audit engagement, end-to-end, with management supervision.

• Working knowledge of internal control and risk management principles.

• Strong knowledge of internal control testing and best practices for documenting work done, evidence and results.

• Proven teamwork ability, contributing to a positive and progressive work environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as additional experience in data analytics is an asset
