Position Summary 

Our client, a large organization operating in an international supply chain environment, is looking for an Import Coordinator to join its team. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating container consolidations and managing import operations. This position requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Coordinate and monitor container consolidations. 
• Manage the different stages of international shipments and import flows. 
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and international logistics partners. 
• Monitor timelines and ensure proper follow-up throughout the import process. 
• Independently manage operations related to the assigned area or port. 
• Identify delays, discrepancies, or operational issues and coordinate appropriate follow-up. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment information and documentation. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations. 
• Act as a resource person and provide support to the team when required. Your profile 
Candidate Profile 
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in import operations. 
• Strong experience with container consolidation. 
• Solid understanding of import processes and fundamentals. 
• Ability to manage multiple files and changing priorities in a high-volume environment. 
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail. 
• Good communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills. 
• Experience working with international suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners. 
• International experience is fully considered; Canadian experience is not required.
