Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Description
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate hiring activities by preparing job postings, arranging interviews, and keeping candidates informed throughout the selection process.
• Prepare employment-related documents and assist with onboarding activities to ensure new team members are set up effectively from their first day.
• Maintain confidential employee information, update HR files, and ensure records are accurate and current.
• Monitor timelines for training completion, certifications, and probationary reviews, and follow up as needed.
• Support benefits administration by assisting with enrolments, changes, and related documentation.
• Compile and update HR data for reporting purposes, including information related to staffing, absences, and other workforce metrics.
• Organize meetings and internal sessions by managing schedules, preparing materials, and recording minutes when required.
• Oversee office supply levels, coordinate purchasing needs, and help maintain an orderly, safe, and well-functioning workplace.
• Assist with internal communications, document distribution, filing systems, and general administrative support for leadership and organizational operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources administration or a closely related administrative role.
• Demonstrated ability to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation processes.
• Experience maintaining accurate records while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with tracking training, certifications, benefits updates, and core HR reporting data.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate meetings, manage files, and handle multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with standard office and administrative tools used for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills suited to working with employees, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
