IT Support Specialist – 2-Month Contract

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an IT Support Specialist for a 2-month contract. The role can be performed remotely, but candidates who can work hybrid in Winnipeg are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, phones, and other IT equipment.
• Install and support Windows, Microsoft 365, Adobe, and other business applications.
• Support employee onboarding, including hardware setup, user accounts, and system access.
• Package and coordinate hardware shipments for employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Microsoft environments.
• Support tools such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Jira, and Confluence.
• Respond to service requests and support tickets.
• Create and update basic IT documentation and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• 2+ years of IT support or help desk experience.
• Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, peripherals, and common software issues.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good troubleshooting, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Duration: 2 months
• Location: Remote possible; hybrid in Winnipeg preferred
