Position Summary
- Reporting to the General Manager/Club Director, the Head of Reception and Member Services serves as the first point of contact and ambassador of the Club. This role ensures a warm, professional welcome to members and guests while overseeing the administrative coordination of member services and daily front-desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Experience & Reception
- Greet members and guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and by email
- Deliver personalized service and ensure a high level of member satisfaction
- Manage reservations (dockage, facilities, events, etc.)
Administrative Duties
- Process billing and follow up on payments
- Maintain and update member records
- Prepare administrative and operational reports as required
- Coordinate internal and external communications
- Assist with the planning and organization of club events and activities
Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with marina, food & beverage, and management teams
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of member services
- Help maintain a professional, welcoming, and harmonious environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion
- Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
Requirements
- Experience in customer service and/or administration
- Proficiency with standard office software and management systems
- Excellent communication skills in English (French is an asset)
- Flexibility during peak boating season
