On behalf of our client, Robert Half is looking for a Functional Analyst to support a major finance transformation initiative, including the implementation of OneStream, which will replace our clients legacy platform.

This role sits within a global finance systems team and combines functional analysis, systems support, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with Finance and IT teams to support financial reporting, system integrations, data validation, and ongoing platform enhancements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands financial systems, enjoys solving data-related problems, and wants to play a key role in a large-scale enterprise implementation. This opportunity is being offered as a 6-month contract with the expectation of converting to permanent. While the successful applicant will typically work remote,our clients preference if for candidates to be based in Vancouver to come on-site for large stakeholder meetings a team gatherings.

What You'll Do

• Support the implementation and rollout of OneStream.
• Maintain and support finance applications and reporting processes.
• Write and analyze SQL queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues.
• Support integrations between ERP, finance, and reporting systems.
• Perform data reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Participate in testing, UAT, and system upgrades.
• Support critical financial reporting delivered to senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
• Experience supporting system integrations and data flows.
• Understanding of multidimensional data structures, including cubes, dimensions, and hierarchies.
• Basic working knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with OneStream, TM1, Cognos, Cognos Controller, or similar financial systems.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 or other ERP platforms.
• Ability to read and understand C#/.NET code (development experience not required).
• Experience supporting finance transformation or enterprise reporting projects.
