    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a wholesale distribution business in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This position is suited to someone who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting day-to-day operations in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute strong organizational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the complete bookkeeping function, ensuring financial records are accurate, current, and well organized.

    • Process incoming and outgoing payments by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities in a timely manner.

    • Monitor cash position and perform reconciliations for accounts.

    • Prepare and submit month-end financial information and required filings for government and regulatory bodies.

    • Generate sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices to support daily business transactions.

    • Communicate with customers, vendors, and facility contacts to help coordinate contract-related documentation and resolve payment matters.

    • Provide administrative and office support to management and team members, including document handling and general coordination tasks.


    • Postsecondary education in accounting, business, or a related discipline.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting role.
    • Hands-on experience with Sage 50 or comparable computerized accounting software.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced comfort using Excel for financial tasks.
    • Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions with attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills, a high level of discretion, and the flexibility to shift between priorities as needed.
