We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for a manufacturing operation in Mississauga, Ontario. This position focuses on turning financial data into clear business insights, helping leaders track performance, manage budgets, and make informed decisions. The successful candidate will work across accounting and finance functions, prepare meaningful reports, and contribute to ongoing process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial results and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved business performance.

• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports that provide management with clear, accurate, and timely financial insights.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial review activities by compiling data and validating assumptions.

• Work with accounting and finance teams to maintain reliable records and ensure reporting aligns with business requirements.

• Use financial systems and reporting tools to extract, organize, and interpret information.

• Apply data analysis techniques to evaluate business performance and assist with planning and decision-making.

• Contribute to the improvement of reporting processes and support changes to financial workflows when required.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve reporting issues, clarify financial information, and improve data quality.

• Working towards CPA designation.

• Experience in a Financial Analyst role or a similar position within finance or accounting.

• Proficiency with accounting software systems and strong working knowledge of financial reporting tools.

• Demonstrated ability to support budget preparation, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.

• Experience working with large data sets and using data mining techniques to produce actionable insights.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of accuracy.
