Finance Manager

Description
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities and ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Manage accounts payable activities, including reviewing transactions, monitoring coding, and maintaining appropriate approval controls.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation as required.
• Develop, monitor, and refine budgets and forecasts to support decision-making across a diverse investment portfolio.
• Prepare clear and timely financial packages, including materials for leadership and board-level reporting.
• Apply Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE) in financial reporting and ensure compliance across all relevant entities.
• Support inventory-related accounting processes where applicable, including valuation, tracking, and reconciliation activities.
• Provide financial analysis and practical recommendations to help leadership assess business performance and planning priorities.
• Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle accounting and finance activities in a multi-entity or complex business environment as CPA designated professional.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, financial review practices, and internal control principles.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Solid understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE) and their application in financial reporting.
• Experience preparing financial summaries and presentation materials for senior leadership or boards.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting principles and their impact on financial results.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively.
