Role: Director of HRIS Workday

Type: Full time / Permanent

Compensation: $180k to $200k + Bonus + 3 Weeks Vacation (1 Week PTO/Sick Days + Paid Holidays etc) + Strong benefits w/ RRSP

Requirements:

Workday Governance: Lead technical management within a shared, multi-tenant environment, balancing division-specific needs with cross-organizational standards.

Module Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Core HCM, Recruitment (LinkedIn integration), Performance, Time & Absence, and Advanced Compensation. Workday Pro certification is a plus.

Systems Integration: Manage complex data flows between Workday and external platforms, specifically ADP Payroll, LinkedIn, and Vindly.

Technical Configuration: Hands-on experience with Business Process (BP) design, EIB data transmissions, system prototyping, and troubleshooting.

Data Integrity: Maintain high-level accuracy for a 6,000-employee landscape through regular audits and multi-system reconciliations.

Release & Roadmap Management: Direct oversight of semi-annual Workday update cycles and long-term functional roadmaps.

Analytics & Reporting: Architect complex queries, standardized reports, and executive dashboards to deliver actionable insights.

• Extensive experience leading Workday HRIS functions in a complex organizational setting.
• Strong expertise across Workday modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Performance, Time and Absence, and Compensation.
• Proven success managing integrations between Workday and third-party platforms, including payroll and talent systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Workday business process design, configuration, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity through audits, reconciliations, and governance practices.
• Experience overseeing Workday updates, enhancement roadmaps, and system improvement initiatives.
• Advanced reporting and analytics capabilities, with the ability to create dashboards and translate data into business insights.
• Workday certification or comparable advanced platform credentials would be considered an asset.
