Position Summary
The Full-Stack Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the technology solutions that power Retina Labs' rapidly growing healthcare platforms. This position is responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution architecture, application development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise healthcare applications.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with extensive experience building scalable web applications and APIs using Java and Angular technologies. Working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, this individual will help deliver innovative solutions that improve access to preventive healthcare services and support Retina Labs continued growth. The successful candidate will be a strong problem solver who writes clean, maintainable code and thrives in both independent and highly collaborative work environments.

What You'll Do
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, QA/testing, deployment, and support.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular.
- Develop and optimize MySQL databases and data models.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in healthcare applications.
- Strong experience with:
- Java (Java 18+) and Spring Boot/Spring MVC
- Angular (Version 21+)
- TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- RESTful API design and integration
- MySQL database management
- Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
- Hibernate/JPA or similar ORM frameworks
- Deep understanding of Angular component architecture, services, RxJS, and state management (NgRx).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently in a highly collaborative environment.Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar frontend libraries.
- Experience developing secure, scalable enterprise applications in regulated industries.
