Our client, with over 40 years in the manufacturing industry, is on the lookout for a Credit/Collection Analyst to join their team. In this role, you'll collaborate with industry leaders, managing the financial risk of all customers while supporting the corporate strategy to expand the customer base and ensure a steady cash flow. Main Requirements:


- At least 3 years of credit and collections experience
- Strong analytical skills in investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Ability to research and read financial information and credit reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency
- Fluently bilingual required for communications outside Quebec
- Proficiency with MS Office

Main Responsibilities:


- Proactively analyze credit limits and assess risk of all active customers
- Review, approve and open new accounts while adhering to company policy
- Maintain the accuracy of all customer documentation including all sales tax certificates and company information
- Collect outstanding customer accounts to ensure timely payments
- Review and approve orders on credit hold
- Apply and process payments, including checks, EFT’s and credit cards
- Work closely with Sales, Service and Management to help exceed customer expectation
