Are you a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operations and understanding how products are built from the ground up? Our client is seeking a Cost Analyst to join their team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility supporting one of the world's largest retailers.

This is a highly visible role within an international organization where you'll partner with finance, operations, and commercial teams to drive profitability, improve costing accuracy, and support key business decisions. The position offers a unique blend of product costing, ERP systems management, financial analysis, and business partnering.

What You'll Do

• Own and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring costing data is accurate and up to date across all products.
• Manage product costing for both new product development (NPD) and existing product lines.
• Analyze manufacturing performance, including material yields, labour efficiency, overhead absorption, and standard costing variances.
• Partner with plant leadership to provide insights and recommendations that improve operational and financial performance.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operational reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
• Develop and enhance reporting and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
• Ensure financial information within SAP S/4HANA and related systems is accurate and supports effective decision-making.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and ad hoc projects across the business.
• Present financial information to non-finance stakeholders and act as a key liaison between finance and operations.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of hands-on Bill of Materials (BOM) and product costing experience.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and cost accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across finance, commercial, and operational teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required; cost-plus pricing experience is considered an asset.
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
