Robert Half is partnering with a valued client in search of an experienced Controller to lead and oversee the organization’s accounting and financial operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who can manage day-to-day accounting functions, strengthen internal controls, and provide strategic financial insight to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other reporting requirements
• Coordinate audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to leadership
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, supporting growth and performance
• Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy and operational planning

• Previous experience as a Controller
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Experience overseeing payroll management and accounting controls
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial tools
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
