Term: 24-month fixed-term contract
Compensation: $120-140K per annum, commensurate with experience
(Relocation may be considered for candidates who meet all qualifications listed below and are looking to move to BC from another Canadian province)

This is a highly hands-on leadership role, ideal for a seasoned finance professional who has operated at the hands-on controllership level and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role sits at the core of the finance function, overseeing accounting operations across a multi-entity structure while supporting financial planning, reporting, and overall business performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA designation
- 5-10+ years of progressive finance experience, including direct controllership or senior leadership at a management level for at least 2 years
- Proven experience overseeing multi-entity / group of companies' structures, with consolidated reporting into a parent organization
- Experience managing financial operations for large organizations such as pubco or private entities with at least $100M+ in annual revenue
- Strong expertise in IFRS reporting, including preparation and review of consolidated financial statements
- Background in manufacturing, construction, or other operational/asset-heavy environments preferred
- Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and financial governance
- Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to operate both at a detailed and oversight level (managing teams of 3+ direct reports)
- Hands on experience with ERP system environments and managing costing and inventory functions

- Strong communicator who can effectively bridge finance and operations
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, timelines, and accountability with a tight month end close deadlines
- Adaptable and comfortable stepping into a contract role with immediate impact expectations
