    Description

    We are looking for a meticulous and organized Contract Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in British Columbia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and overseeing procurement processes. Your expertise in contract administration and SAP systems will be essential to maintaining efficient operations in the mining sector.


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the preparation and management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Create and update purchase orders (POs) and handle change orders within company systems.

    • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to contract execution and vendor performance.

    • Ensure contractors are properly onboarded using designated tools and systems.

    • Facilitate the creation of new vendor profiles and maintain vendor files for accuracy and completeness.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to agree on contract terms and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

    • Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements throughout all procurement and contract activities.

    • Utilize SAP and other database tools to efficiently manage procurement and contract-related tasks.

    • Provide support in minimal contract negotiations and ensure timely resolutions.

    • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.


    • Proven experience in contract administration within the mining or related industry.
    • Proficiency in SAP systems and database management tools.
    • Strong understanding of RFP and RFQ processes, including document preparation.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and manage purchase orders and change orders.
    • Familiarity with vendor onboarding processes and maintaining vendor files.
    • Knowledge of health and safety compliance in procurement activities.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
